The Lighthouse at the Port of Burgas, the first Bulgarian port lighthouse, has guided ships since the late 19th century. Designed by Sabi Denev and unintentionally looking like a red-and-white candy cane, it stands as a symbol of the city, visible from Central Beach and the Pier. While public access is restricted, the walk to the lighthouse offers panoramic sea views, though the route is unshaded, making early morning or late afternoon visits more comfortable. The surrounding area, with its wave-breaking concrete structures, provides a striking contrast and a peaceful spot to enjoy the sea.

Zubizuri, meaning 'white bridge' in Basque, is a steel-and-glass footbridge over the Nervión River, designed by Santiago Calatrava and opened in 1997. It links Campo Volantín on one side to Uribitarte on the other. The deck was originally made of translucent glass bricks, but they became dangerously slippery when wet, so now there’s a non-slip covering over much of the walking surface. From the middle of the bridge, you get a good view of the river and the Guggenheim, especially at sunrise or when the lights come on at night.

The permanent exhibition at Chania Archaeological Museum tells the story of Crete's history with multiple well-preserved exhibits, which include mosaics, jewellery, coins, sculptures, and other artifacts. The building itself served as a prison, cinema, and ammunition warehouse at different times.

Just a short distance (about 2 km) from Tivat, Prevlaka Island, also known as the Island of Flowers, is a peaceful getaway where nature and history come together. You can easily cross over from the mainland on a narrow isthmus, check out the quaint Church of the Holy Trinity, and soak up the views of the Bay of Kotor.
