About an hour from Bordeaux, Arcachon Bay is known for its calm waters and wide sandy beaches, shaped by oyster farming that still thrives here. You can cycle along quiet paths, spot birds on the nearby Île aux Oiseaux, and stop for fresh oysters at one of the local seafood shacks. Just next door is the Dune du Pilat, Europe’s tallest sand dune, rising over 100 metres. Climbing it rewards you with wide views across the bay and the Atlantic beyond. National Scenic Byway 143 is known as Utah's Patchwork Parkway because early pioneers used quilts to survive while crossing the plateau during the cold, snowy winters. It traverses from Parowan to Brian Head, and then northeast from Brian Head to Panguitch. Drive or even bike along stunning wildflowers and passing streams.

The Teatro Municipal de Santiago opened its doors for the first time in September 1857 and has since been considered the most important stage theater and opera house in Chile. The building constructed in the style of neoclassical architecture was inaugurated with the Verdi opera 'Ernani' and has since suffered several strokes of fate, including multiple fires and an earthquake but was reconstructed every time. In 1974, the Teatro Municipal de Santiago was declared a National Monument.

Since 1967, Lion Country Safari has been a favorite destination for animal lovers of all ages. This drive-through wildlife preserve is home to over 900 animals from around the world, offering an up-close experience like no other. In addition to the safari, the park features a walk-through amusement area and a camping ground.
