Old Town Centres (Clermont And Montferrand)

Wandering through the numerous sites and beautiful buildings of the Old Town Centres of Clermont and Monferrand is simply a pleasure. You will find medieval and Romanesque masterpieces, Gothic and Renaissance private mansions, as well as Gothic sanctuaries like the Cathedral. Forty fountains sculpted in petrified lava from volcanoes are located throughout town, offering a pleasant sight for visitors. Montferrand itself is perhaps the most authentic, provided with its exceptional legacy of historical sites, such as place de la Rodade or place Marcel Sembat, the original heart of the city, and the Gothic Church Notre Dame de la Prospérité.
