San Diego is a great city for heart-warming retail therapy. The very accommodating climate provides the perfect backdrop for open-air shopping centers, and there is an endless variety of top quality malls, luxurious brands and vintage shops to choose from.
More than 18 million shoppers visit Fashion Valley shopping mall every year. The upscale mall is located in Mission Valley, northeast of downtown, and has more than 200 shops, restaurants and department stores, including Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus and Tiffany. Westfield Horton Plaza
This colorful five-level mall offers some of the best and most convenient shopping in downtown San Diego. The complex opened in 1985 and hosts more than 130 stores and numerous fast food counters. Validated parking tickets are good for three free hours.
Seaport Village is a water-front shopping center with more than 67 shops and restaurants. There is a heavy concentration of souvenir shops that cater to tourists, but the area is also great for family outings.
