The Bruton Parish Episcopal Church was constructed in 1674 and still holds church services to this day. The church's patronage has included myriads of patriots from the Revolution and other Virginians. Over 120 recitals and concerts are held annually. Visitors are invited to attend noonday prayers every Monday through Saturday and the Holy Eucharist at 11a.m. on Wednesdays, as well as Sunday services.
