The science museum Kreativum beckons curious minds of all ages to discover and explore the wonders of nature and the groundbreaking inventions that have shaped our world. The effervescent Parrot Mountain and Gardens is located just outside Pigeon Forge and is a must for families, friends, locals, and visitors. The four acres harbor hundreds of tropical birds and thousands of trees, plants, and flowers. Guests are given the opportunity to interact directly with the beautifully plumed birds, petting and feeding them in the designated area. There is even a nursery where guests are welcome to hold the baby birds. Overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains is the deck, where lunch from the deli may be enjoyed while the birds serenade. A secret garden is lush with birds flying freely and pathways that display all of the gorgeous flowers.

The Rijeka Tunnel, also called TunelRi, served as a shelter for civilians from the aerial bombings during the endgame of Second War II, or during the Civil War. With its 330 metres, it stretches below the Old Town to the Dolac Primary School; the main gate is located right next to the Cathedral of St Vitus. In 2017, after 75 years, the tunnel has been opened to the public and is one of the main attractions of the city, still featuring original signs.

This masterpiece of Italian Gothic architecture was left standing but roofless by centuries of legendary history. Built between 1182 and 1185, the Abbey has lost all of its past wealth and grandiosity but very little of its beauty. If you are in the area, have a look at the Rotonda di Montesiepi nearby and look for the sword planted in the ground.
