Discover the natural beauty of Långasjönäs nature reserve, where Nytorpet offers a plethora of outdoor activities amidst the serene surroundings. In the 18th and 19th centuries, there were paper mills, distilleries, sawmills, and starch mills in the area. Most of the buildings are now only ruins that are well worth a visit. Located just 10 kilometres north of Karlshamn's city centre, Långasjönäs promises a retreat into nature's embrace.

Once you’ve seen everything, chill out on the lawn in the Discoverers’ Park. This attraction is not only for children.

This is a museum dedicated to the Atlanta-born author Margaret Mitchell. Her book "Gone with the Wind" written here and first published in 1936 is still considered one of the most successful books of all time. It earned her the Pulitzer Prize in 1937.
