The Mörrum River is renowned worldwide for its exceptional salmon fishing, drawing enthusiasts from both near and far. Beyond the thrill of angling, visitors immerse themselves in the unique charm of the area, captivated by the river falls in central Mörrum. The locale offers more than just fishing, boasting a restaurant, a well-stocked fishing shop, and an aquarium adjacent to the exhibition at The House of Salmon. Among green orchards at the foothill of Phanos, which is the highest hill in Paralimni, visitors can find the chapel of Archangelos Gabriel. In 1965, during the building of the chapel, a stone cross sculpture was found in the area, proof that in the past there was a church here. This cross was incorporated in the new chapel. In 1998 the chapel was restored and its walls were decorated with frescoes.

This zoo was made world famous by The Crocodile Hunter himself — Steve Irwin. Although best known for its crocodiles and crocodile feedings, the zoo also features wildlife from all around Australia and the world over, including koalas, tigers, and even the possibility of hand-feeding a kangaroo.
