Already well-known as a business travel destination, Doha, the capital of the State of Qatar, has emerged in recent years as a rapidly developing tourist destination as well. A well preserved, colonnaded medieaval old town with its world renowned Golden Roof. Right next to this there's a brightly coloured, sparkling imperial palace, the Hofburg - baroque and monumental. A stone’s throw away is the Hofkirche, a court church containing larger-than-life bronze statues, the Schwarze Mander, standing guard around the (empty) tomb of Emperor Maximilian I., a truly breath-taking sight and unique in Europe. High above this superb architecture towers the Nordkette, a magnificent mountain range between 2300 and 2500 m.

Nestled between Sicily and North Africa, Malta is an enchanting island nation that offers a unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Beyond its historical wonders, which include ancient temples and medieval fortresses, Malta boasts stunning coastlines, crystal-clear waters, and picturesque beaches, which combined with nearly uninterrupted sunshine year-round and some of the mildest temperatures worldwide, make the island a delightful escape for travellers in any season.

Close your eyes. What do you see when you think about Skåne? Undulating fields of rapeseed, villages where the roads winds its way between half-timbered houses and long sandy beaches. If so, then you're quite right. But here in Northwest Skåne we have a little bit more of everything. There's drama here, too. Söderåsen features wild primeval forests and Kullaberg draws visitors who come to marvel at the precipices and caves.

Prosperous and lively, Brescia is Lombardy’s second biggest city, a university town with a modern business area (Brescia Due). Located between two of Italy’s most famous lakes, Lake Garda and Lake Iseo, Brescia is often overlooked by visitors who bypass the city itself and head straight to the undeniably beautiful lakes. A great pity, as Brescia boasts one of the most beautiful historic centres in the region, and some of the best Roman and Lombard remains in northern Italy.
