Grenoble - Cafes
France is the promised land for brasseries and cafés. A coffee with a chocolate croissant in the morning, a coffee with a baguette for lunch, afternoon coffee with a cake and a glass of wine in the evening. All meetings and rendezvous are arranged at one of Grenoble’s cafés.
Café Decitre
Both bookshop and café. The work of young artists hang on the old walls. The bookshop has the city’s largest selection of non-French books. Excellent salads and both coffee and tea.
Café Du Tribunal
Rustic decor with wooden tables. Residents of Grenoble and the city’s journalists gather here to look at people, chat and drink beer. The café serves beer from all over the world, both bottled and draught.
Jack Juliard
Pastries, cakes, sweets and small desserts are available in this intimate tea room, which is famous for its crème caramel and fruit mousse. During the summer the terrace is very popular.
Gonzales Frères
Widely known for its ice cream and homemade sorbet in a wide range of flavours.
