Hastings Street in Noosa is famous all over Australia for its fine shopping and restaurants. Shops line both sides of Hastings Street and in the centre of it is Bay Village, which is an arcade of small specialist shops built around a food court.
A 15 minute walk over the hill behind Hastings Street, and you’ll be at Noosa Junction Plaza on Sunshine Beach Rd in Noosa Heads, which is the primary shopping centre for Noosa. All the main shops and banks are there. The Noosa Fair shopping centre on Lanyana Way, in Noosa Junction, has heaps of speciality shops.
In the area of Noosaville, shopping is located off Gibson Road where there are a cluster of shopping centres while specialist shops line Gympie Terrace. Noosa Harbour holds a market every Sunday morning.
Sunshine Plaza on Horton Pde is a large shopping centre with all the major stores and supermarkets placed in scenic and cosy surroundings. There is also the Big Top Shopping Centre on Duporth Ave.
Caloundra and Mooloolaba:
Caloundra’s Bulcock Street is a bustling hive of shopping activity with a wide array of stores. Then there’s the Stockland Caloundra shopping centre, on Bowman Rd, with 52 specialty stores open every day and the Centrepoint Shopping Plaza on Minchinton St. Toward Mooloolaba is the Kawana Shoppingworld, which has over 110 stores on one level. In the streets of Mooloolaba you can also find several diverse shops to explore.
Eumundi Market is a must-do shopping experience on the Sunshine Coast.
