Lion Country Safari
Since 1967, this drive-through wildlife preserve has been entertaining visitors. Recently expanded to include a camping ground and a walk-through preserve as well, this park is a blast for all ages.
Kravis Center for the Performing Arts
Going into its 18th season, the Kravis Center is home to the Ballet Florida, Miami City Ballet, Palm Beach Pops and Palm Beach Pops. Each season it presents more than 350 performances, with headline acts such as “Mamma Mia”.
South Florida Science Museum
A perfect spot for the family, the South Florida Science Museum is comprised of hands-on exhibits, The McGinty Aquariums and The Marvin Dekelboum Planetarium. The aquarium displays a living coral reef, sharks, and alligators in tanks as large as 900 gallons. On the other hand, the Marvin Dekelboum Planetarium offers 360-degree presentations, earning it the title of one of the most tech-forward planetariums in the United States.
Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park
This 22-acre tropical zoological garden is a small yet cozy zoo and a well spent 3-hour afternoon. Because of its size, it feels more like a stroll through a beautiful park. When the heat index rises, jump in the fountain for relief.
Rapids Water Park
A 30-year tradition, this water park has 29 slides from wild to very mild and everything in between. If lazing the day away is for you, take an inner tube down the Lazy River and work on your tan. This is an all day affair.
Meyer Amphitheater
From May to October, Sundays at the Meyer are free outside concerts that showcase a plethora of national award-winning recording artists, children’s entertainment and treats from the Mayor. Situated along the visually stunning Flagler Drive Waterfront, bring lawn chairs and coolers to get the full effect.
