5 km west of St. Helier lies the picturesque port of St. Aubin. An unusual and romantic idea for lunch is to visit Appleboots, at the Hamptonne Country Life Museum in St Lawrence. Enjoy one of their romantic champagne picnics for two in the grounds of this beautiful heritage site.

For some light bites in contemporary surroundings complimented by theatre ticket sales, an art gallery and internet access, Caféjac at the Jersey Arts Centre in St Helier would be the solution.
