If you would like to get away from the city hustle and bustle then take a stroll around this quite park. This is a great place to have a picnic or do some sports. There is also an old tower which was built for a World Exposition back in the 1920s.

The Bardo National Museum stands as Tunisia’s largest museum and an essential stop for history and art lovers. Housed in a majestic Hafsid-era palace (1228–1574), later expanded by the Ottomans, its collection ranks among the Mediterranean’s most significant — second only to Cairo’s Egyptian Museum in Africa. The museum’s Roman mosaics, unearthed during 19th-century excavations, offer vivid glimpses of ancient North African life, complemented by Punic and Hellenistic statues. Inside this lush building you will find not only a cinema, but also the Tyneside Coffee Rooms and a bar. Tyneside Cinema offers a unique cinema experience with three different screens called The Classic, The Electra and The Roxy. The space can also be used for conferences and meetings.

Nowhere else in the world is there a reflective sundial of this size, and astronomers from all countries come to Horloge Solaire to study the sundial, which still keeps the time today. In 1673, under Louis the XIV, the Jesuit, Father Bonfa, and his pupils painted frescoes covering 100 square meters of the walls.
