Stargazers will no doubt find inspiration at this unique observatory. The castle was built in 1582 and has been home to merchants, smugglers, and pirates, as well as researchers and scientists. While worldly exhibits focus on the history of the castle, there are plenty dedicated to the cosmos, and life in outer space.

At 452 metres, the Petronas Twin Towers used to be the tallest buildings in the world before being surpassed by Taipei 101 in 2004. Still the tallest twin buildings, they are a true symbol of the new Malaysia. You are welcome to the skybridge on the 41st floor. Petronas Towers are adjacent to one of the busiest shopping malls in Malaysia, Suria KLCC. Ticket sales start at 8:30am and are limited in number. If you plan to visit during the next 24 hours, tickets will need to be purchased at the Ticketing Counter on the Concourse Level, otherwise they may be pre-bought online. Time allotted per visit is 45 minutes, and includes visits to the sky bridge and observation deck.

A must-see attraction — the Tanguy Tower — houses a collection of various exhibits including artefacts and maps that recount the history of Brest. The tower itself is a medieval structure dating back to the 14th century. Its true origins, however, remain unknown.

Housed in the restored Christchurch building and surrounded by its beautiful grounds, this centre is now home to an arthouse cinema which hosts exhibitions, concerts, and other events. Also in the building is a Plugs record store, and a café.
