Chinatown is located just next to the financial district's skyscrapers. It is colorful, crowded and with typical aromas of the Chinese district (spices, herbs, medicines, fruit). In Tanjong Pagar one will find traditional tea shops, masks and other artwork. In the narrow Smith Street, Trengganu Street, Temple Street and Pagoda Street, it's easy to find all kinds of bargains.
