Port Stephens Coaches run between the airport and the Newcastle train station and the Nelson Bay area. Hunter Valley Buses run between the airport and Maitland, Raymond and Stockton. Hunter Valley Buses accept cash for single trips and Opal cards (not sold at the airport). Port Stephens coaches accept credit card or Opal cards. Port Stephens Coaches +61 02 4982 2940 www.pscoaches.com.au Hunter Valley Buses +61 02 4935 7200 www.cdcbus.com.au Taxis are available 24 hours a day at the taxi rank right outside the terminal. Uber and Didi are other good alternatives.
