Public Transport
The guide was updated:Havasu Area Transit operates several routes, stopping at bus stops in Lake Havasu City, Desert Hills and the Shops at Lake Havasu. All 4 routes connect at 25 minutes after the hour at the downtown transfer center and will provide the passenger a free transfer to another route. The scheduled route service operates Monday through Friday from 6am to 7pm. and Saturday from 8am to 6pm. HAT is closed Sundays and all City Holidays except Good Friday and Veterans Day.

Citizens of the Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and the Kingdom of Brunei can visit the United States for up to 90 days without applying for a visa (as well as citizens of Andorra, Lichtenstein, Monaco and San Marino). Best Time to Visit
The best period to visit Lake Havasu City is late summer, when temperatures are high enough to enjoy walking outside, but not uncomfortably so. If you want to spend less and if you like colder temperatures, then visit during winter when it is less crowded and evidently cheaper.

Airport
Lake Havasu City's small airport does not currently handle commercial passenger flights. For domestic and international air travel, you can use either Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, about a 2.5-hour drive away, or Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Arizona, approximately a 3-hour drive away. These major airports provide full flight services and connections.
