The museum's art gallery shows annually four to five exhibitions of everything from contemporary art to modernism. Alongside the art itself, there are workshops for children, a cafe and a shop.

At Halmstads Konsthall (Halmstad’s art hall), you can experience contemporary art by local and national artists. The Konsthall shows 6-8 exhibitions per year, which makes it a lively and ever-changing centre for Halmstad’s art scene. The gallery is fairly small, or rather bite-sized, which makes for a great quick visit if you are passing by Halmstad or stopping by at the library.

Ateljé Bastaskär — Walter Bengtssons Museum

Studio, gallery and museum in one. Ateljé Bastaskär is the old studio of sculptor, painter, and graphic designer Walter Bengtsson.
