Aéroport de Bergerac Périgord Dordogne

Bergerac’s airport, the Aéroport de Bergerac Périgord Dordogne, is situated around six km (four miles) from the city centre. Taxis can be found just outside the terminal building. A short journey to the Bergerac bus station costs about €20. If hiring a car, take the main exit out of the airport and follow the signs into the city centre – it is easily identified.

Public Transport

Bergerac is a small compact city and can be easily navigated on foot, which is the best way to see it. There is a good bus service run by the Transports Urbains de Bergerac (TUB). Timetables are displayed at stops and are also available from the bus station. Both the bus and train stations are located at Rue Neuve d’Argenson. Tickets for public transport can be purchased from the bus driver, the town hall, Municipal Caville Antenna or from the Antenna Municipal Naillac. Single tickets are valid for an hour. If travelling further afield, the rail network is run by SNCF.

Pharmacy

Pharmacies are recognised by a large green cross outside the premises, and are generally open 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 7pm daily, except Sunday. Out of hours is on a rotation basis displayed at the premises. 15 (local number) in the event of an emergency. One pharmacy can be found here:
