With a culture and natural landscape as vibrant as its history (it was once declared a “pirate republic” by infamous pirates Charles Vane, Calico Jack Rackham, "Blackbeard" Edward Teach, Anne Bonny, and Mary Read), Nassau is The Bahamas’ crown jewel.
