Must-sees in Rabat's medina are Rue Souika, Rue des Consuls and Souk es-Sabat. Wandering around and enjoying the look of arts and crafts, pottery, shoes, leather and much more is an experience in itself. Do not forget to bargain when purchasing a souvenir! Mondays and Thursdays are for rug auctions, which take place on Rue des Consuls – a guaranteed spectacle.
