Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE), the nearest major airport, is 58 miles from Sandusky. Reaching Sandusky via public transportation involves a multi-step journey through Cleveland. First, take the Red Line Subway to the Tower City Station. Then, make your way across downtown to the Cleveland Amtrak station, where you can board a one-hour train to Sandusky. Alternatively, taxis are available near baggage claim, and both shuttle and car rental services operate at the airport.

Public Transport

Sandusky Transit (STS) provides public transportation with five fixed routes throughout Sandusky, Perkins Township, and Huron Township. STS operates daily, except for New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Note that none of the bus lines currently extend to Cedar Point, unfortunately.
