Gamla Bibliotekscaféet

The Gamla Bibliotekscaféet is adjacent to Rådhustorget. The owners have been running the café in these premises in nearly 30 years. It's the go-to spot for breakfast, lunch or a coffee break. There is a full range of delicious salads, soups, grilled sourdough bread and of course tasty cakes — everything, all day long! The cafe is KRAV-certified.

Kulturbageriet

Kulturbageriet, nestled in Umeå's historic Stora Hotellet stable, offers a fusion of Västerbotten's culture and global flavors. As a craft bakery and café, it serves stone-baked breads, specialty coffee, hearty soups and fresh juices. Located in the heart of Väven with spacious outdoor seating, it's a hub for early risers and late-night visitors alike. Come for the exquisite pizzas, stay for the story behind our ingredients and craftsmanship.

Nya Konditoriet (NK)

Classic Swedish bakeries are becoming increasingly rare, but Nya Konditoriet is a real gem. NK is located in one of Umeå's best-preserved wooden houses from the 1920s, with a listed façade that must remain unchanged. The interior exudes a 1950s "grandma" ambiance, filled with the aromas of coffee and freshly baked bread.
