Shiroi Koibito Park

Chocolate is possibly a surprising souvenir here in Sapporo but locally-made chocolate confectionery is well worth treating yourself (or others) to. The distinguished Ishiya Chocolate Factory is well-known in Japan and South East Asia. Their confectionery is incredibly popular with locals as well as visitors. The ultimate gift to purchase is the 'shiroi koibito', which literally means 'white beloved ones'.
