Lowell Observatory

Founded in 1894 by Percival Lowell, the Lowell Observatory serves as a research institution, as well as a public space for astronomy enthusiasts, featuring telescopes, multimedia shows, and exhibits. The dwarf planet Pluto was discovered here in 1930 by Clyde Tombaugh.
