Caffè Excelsior

A landmark in the charming Portofino, Caffè Excelsior has a history that dates back to the 1924 and has been a popular gathering spot since then. This is where the Paciugo, a vanilla and raspberry ice cream with grenadine syrup, was first invented. A cocktail bar is available, serving drinks such as Negroni and Gin Tonic.

Their chefs are able to serve fruit-based or mascarpone cakes and the traditional tiramisu, but also ice creams and savoury treats. They have vegetarian options too, and you can ask for custom orders.
