Buying chocolate in a shop is one thing; having it personally prepared by one of the most dedicated chocolatiers in Canada is another. Among the busy streets of Montreal lies a small boutique called the Divine Chocolatier. Richard Zwierzynski opened his store after being inspired by Willy Wonka and makes sure his customers experience a memorable visit.

Don't be discouraged by the post-apocalyptic façade of the shop and dare to enter this Ali Baba's cave. Eva B also doubles as a bistro and bar, with a small stage hosting occasional events like live music or performances.

Complexe Desjardins is a mall that almost feels like a small city, with its sprawling, light-filled atrium, futuristic architecture, and a large illuminated fountain. Inside, you’ll find a wide range of shops, from fashion and accessories to everyday essentials, alongside plenty of dining options. It’s a convenient stop for shopping or grabbing a bite, and wandering through its multi-level corridors gives a glimpse of Montreal’s downtown energy.

Argo Bookshop

Argo Bookshop has been a cornerstone of Montreal’s English-language literary scene since the 1960s.
