Beale Street

Though some might say Beale Street's heyday was back in the roaring twenties, we say that while it may have started then, it never ended. It remains the heart and soul of Memphis nightlife. Known as the "Home of the Blues", this iconic street is flanked by world-class restaurants, bars, and clubs, where live music and good times roll non-stop.

BB King's Blues Club

Right in the heart of Beale Street, BB King’s is a Memphis staple where the music never really stops. It’s named after the legend for a reason—big acts roll through, but you’ll also catch solid local talent most nights. The food leans classic Southern (ribs, catfish, and shrimp & grits), and the atmosphere is loud, lively, and built for a good time.

Brookhaven Pub and Grill

A go-to neighborhood hangout in East Memphis, Brookhaven is part sports bar, part live music spot, and all about the good times. It's especially lively on game days, with Tigers fans packed in front of the TVs. The menu hits all the sports bar staples—wings, burgers, cold beer—and there’s usually something going on, from trivia nights to cover bands.

Blues City Cafe

Another Beale Street institution, Blues City Cafe has over 25 years of experience bringing some of the biggest names in blues to their stage, with live performances still taking place nightly. Their ribs are legendary at this point, but their menu also includes mouthwatering soul food of the Delta region.

Flight Restaurant and Wine Bar

Flight Restaurant and Wine Bar offers a unique dining experience by presenting its menu in "flights," allowing guests to sample multiple dishes or wines within a single course. This approach extends to appetizers, entrées, desserts, and wines, enabling patrons to explore a variety of flavors during their meal.

High Point Pub

For a real, local slice of Memphis nightlife, swing by High Point Pub—a neighborhood hangout that’s been around since 1947. Inside, you’ll find shuffleboard, darts, a jukebox, and live music, plus a solid beer selection. Pro tip: grab a pizza from High Point Pizza right next door and bring it over.
