Mall of America

The Mall of America redefines retail therapy near Minneapolis. Beyond 520 tax-free shops (yes, no sales tax on clothing and shoes!), this massive complex packs in entertainment: ride coasters at Nickelodeon Universe, marvel at SEA LIFE’s aquatic tunnels, or get creative at the Crayola Experience. New additions like FlyOver America’s virtual flight simulation keep things fresh. With 300+ annual events — from concerts to fashion shows — and a sleek new north wing featuring a JW Marriott and global brands like Zara, it’s no wonder 32 million visitors flock here yearly.

Southdale Center

Southdale Center was the nation's first indoor shopping mall when it opened in 1956. The mall is anchored by Macy's, and also has over 120 specialty stores, including Michael Kors, The Apple Store, and Sephora. Dining options at Southdale range from sit down restaurants like Cheesecake Factory and Dave & Buster's, to more casual choices such as Shake Shack and Rustica. There is also an AMC movie theater located at the mall.

Eden Prairie Center

Located in nearby Eden Prairie, this shopping mall features 120 shops and restaurants, including Minnesota's first and only Von Maur department store. Visitors to Eden Prairie Center can catch a movie at the 18-screen theater or enjoy a meal at the food court. Eden Prairie Center also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, making it a great destination for both retail therapy and family fun.

Galleria

This upscale shopping center is located in the nearby suburb of Edina. At Galleria, you'll find unique stores you won't find anywhere else in the area, including Restoration Hardware, Crate & Barrel, and Pottery Barn. There are also several restaurants inside the Galleria, including Big Bowl, CRAVE, and Pittsburgh Blue steakhouse.

IKEA

IKEA is conveniently located across the street from Mall of America. Shop two floors of home furnishing products designed to combine function, quality, design and value. For a great family dining experience, dine at IKEA Restaurant & Café for a delicious taste of Sweden. Try a famous Swedish-style dish like the favorite meatballs with mashed potatoes, cream sauce and lingonberries.

Southtown Shopping Center

The Southtown Shopping Center has been a local Bloomington favorite since 1960. It is conveniently located in the heart of Bloomington and provides quality retailers and great values. Southtown is home to such retailers as T.J. Maxx, Kohl's, Five Below, and more. AMF Southtown Lanes is a great bowling center to entertain family and friends.
