France can be visited visa-free for up to 90 days by citizens of Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Israel, UAE and most countries in America. If you are unsure whether or not you need to apply for a visa, we recommend contacting the embassy or consulate in your country. International (non-Schengen) travellers need a passport that is valid for at least 3 months after the end of their intended trip in order to enter the Schengen zone. Citizens of Schengen countries can travel without a passport but must have a valid ID with them during their stay.

Biarritz Airport (BIQ)

The airport in Biarritz is located only 5 km southeast of the city and serves nearby Anglet and Bayonne as well. Several buses get you in to the city as well as the train. You can get to Biarritz-La Négresse train station from the airport by using Chronoplus line C. The journey takes about 10 minutes. To travel to Biarritz, Anglet, and Bayonne, you can use the Chronoplus urban transport network, the local bus service. Bus Line #14 runs between the airport and Biarritz centre. It operates Monday to Sunday. There are also several car rentals. Taxis are available outside the terminal building.
