On Efate island, there is a large range of accommodations to choose from. You can find high-end resorts boasting ultimate privacy to locally owned bungalows. Some resorts cater for adults only, offering a romantic and peaceful atmosphere, while others are extremely family friendly offering facilities such as kids’ clubs. There are also a variety of self-catering lodges with 2 or more bedrooms.
On the outer islands, the choices range from very basic guesthouses and pandanus-leaf thatched bungalows to a few resorts on Santo and Tanna islands.
Vanuatu does get busy, so it is advisable to have your accommodation booked before arrival.
