Varna

Varna, Bulgaria’s third-largest city and the largest on the Black Sea coast, is a cultural and historical hub at the crossroads of Western Europe and the Middle East. With a mild climate year-round, summer temperatures range between 25°C and 35°C, while the sea stays warm at 23°C to 27°C. Varna was founded as Odessus by Greek settlers in the 6th century BCE. It later became part of the First Bulgarian Empire in 681 CE. Today, it thrives as a cultural centre with events in music, ballet, opera, theatre, and art, blending its ancient past with a vibrant modern atmosphere.
