For such a small island, there is a vast array of accommodation choices with each venue registered by the local authorities. Hotels are graded from 1- to 5-stars and guest houses are graded from 1- to 4-diamonds, all inspected annually. Jersey offers a plethora of hotel choices particularly in and around St Helier.
There are more than 200 guest houses on the island, some offering bed, breakfast and evening meals, others just Bed & Breakfast. Despite the large number of establishments, advance enquiries are recommended as many guest houses are not open throughout the whole year.
