Old Quarter

Shopaholics should start in the Old Quarter where the winding cobbled streets are teemed with a wide range of goods, including traditional Vietnamese handicrafts, such as lacquerware, silk products, embroidered textiles, and wooden carvings. The streets are also lined with markets and shops selling everything, from colourful lanterns and bamboo goods to ceramics, antiques, and local artwork.
