Cozumel International Airport (CZM) serves both international and domestic flights, offering easy access to the island. Upon arrival, travelers can reach the city center via taxis, private and shared shuttle vans, or private minibusses, which can accommodate 4-10 passengers. Taxis are readily available, and while many drivers accept both Mexican pesos and U.S. dollars, it's recommended to carry small denominations of pesos as many taxi drivers do not accept credit cards. Tourist Tax

As of January 2025, the state of Quintana Roo, which includes Cozumel, has implemented a visitor tax known as the "Visitax." This tax applies to all international tourists over the age of 4 entering the state. The current tax amount is approximately 271 Mexican pesos (around $13–14 USD), though this can vary slightly due to exchange rates. Ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel
