Istanbul is a city offering plenty of accommodation options, from budget hotels to 5-star hotels. There are basically two choices where to stay, south or north of the Golden Horn. It is in the South where you can find most of the budget and boutique hotels, but also some upmarket hotels. North of the Golden Horn is the business and entertainment district, this is where you find most of the mid-range and high-class hotels.
