Porto Montenegro is Tivat’s glitzy marina — sleek, stylish, and designed with the yachting crowd in mind. It’s home to luxury boats, designer boutiques, and high-end restaurants with waterfront tables. But don’t worry — you don’t need a yacht to enjoy it. The promenade is perfect for a leisurely stroll, grabbing a coffee, or simply watching the marina come to life. If you’re into history, the old naval heritage of the area is still visible, with a museum showcasing Tivat’s maritime past just a short walk away.

Pine Embankment

This is Tivat’s waterfront heart — a lively promenade lined with palm trees, cafés, and the occasional moored yacht. Just a short distance (about 2 kilometres) from Tivat, Prevlaka Island, also known as the Island of Flowers, is a peaceful getaway where nature and history come together. You can easily cross over from the mainland on a narrow isthmus, check out the quaint Church of the Holy Trinity, and soak up the views of the Bay of Kotor.

Gornja Lastva

Just above Tivat, Gornja Lastva is a tiny mountain village that seems to have slipped through the cracks of time. A day trip to Kotor from Tivat is an easy and rewarding escape. Just a short drive (or boat ride) around the bay, and you’re stepping into a town that feels like it’s been frozen in time. Lovćen National Park

Lovćen National Park is about a 45-minute drive from Tivat, and honestly, the drive itself is half the fun. The winding roads take you through some jaw-dropping scenery, so don’t rush it. Once you’re there, the park has it all — mountain views, thick forests, and plenty of trails if you’re up for a hike. At the top, you’ll find the Njegoš Mausoleum, a monumental tribute to Montenegro’s famous poet and ruler, Petar II Petrović Njegoš. From up there, you'll also get some of the best views around, stretching out over the Bay of Kotor.
