LuleÄ Airport (LLA)
LuleÄ Airport is one of the main airports in Swedish Lapland, where both SAS and Norwegian fly from. The LuleÄ Airport is only seven kilometres from the city centre. From and to the LuleÄ Airport there is a bus service. You can buy your ticket with credit card on the bus but please note they do not accept cash. There are also prepaid travel tickets and 3-day tourist cards from LuleÄ Local Traffic (LLT) which you can buy at the Mat & Fika café at LuleÄ Airport and in the so called Quickomat, a ticket machine which you can find at the bus shelter outside the airport terminal. In the Quickomat you can also buy credit it to your bus card and check the balance. There is also a taxi stand outside the terminal or you can Prebook Flygtaxi so that the taxi arrives at the same time as your flight. At LuleÄ Airport, you can rent cars at Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Budget och Mabi. All car rental offices are situated right next to the arrivals hall.
