The Huntsman Inn

The Huntsman Inn, built in 1564, is an ancient, Grade 2 Listed, thatched Pub with bags of character, situated in the heart of Ide village on the outskirts of Exeter Devon. Owner Mark Cooper has striven to produce an award-winning restaurant, with his talented chef Adam Lewis. The food you will feast on here will be a step above the normal pub grub menu. Ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible from the country’s tastiest food basket, the South West of England.

The Cosy Club

Cosy Club Exeter takes the meaning of the word ‘quirky’ to a different level; the bar is inspired by an operating table and is illuminated with surgical lighting whilst the walls are adorned with oil paintings, taxidermy, anatomical charts, and Eastern Bloc propaganda. Added to which is the usual eclectic mix of reclaimed furniture, opulent Victorian lampshades and original 1960’s Concorde hangar lights and there you have it. The building is split down the middle with the bar to your left as you enter and the restaurant filling the right hand side of the building. The Imperial

This Wetherspoon pub was previously the Imperial Hotel, from 1923 until 1994. The Imperial had been converted from Elmfield House, built in 1810 for the County Surveyor James Green. The Orangery was added by Dr William Buller Henderson, who purchased the property in 1897.
