Best Time to Visit

Summers in Cathedral City tend to be very hot, so the most pleasant time to visit are the months of March, April and November, where the temperatures are around 26° and where there is a very low chance of significant precipitations. In Cathedral City, especially in Coachella Valley, there are a lot of festivals and events. One of the biggest is the Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival: three days of activities for the whole family that include balloon tether rides, romantic dinners, musical entertainment, gourmet food and a lot of activities for the kids. Other important events are Villagefest and Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade, that take place in the nearby Palm Springs.
