Located high on Beech Mountain, the 5,506' Bar combines casual drinks and snacks with panoramic views. The journey begins before actually getting there, with the scenic ski lift ride up. The lift price leans more towards the higher end, but in trade you'll get unforgettable vistas worth the cost. You can alternatively hike to the summit before rewarding yourself with refreshments. There's live music on some weekends.
