The camp has several different types of huts, while a special octagonal hut, called Jarnge, is the centre of Njarka and the venue for special occasions like weddings and christenings. In addition to learning about Sami history, visitors can also feed the reindeer some lichen, sleep in a traditional Sami fashion, and try their hand at lasso throwing.
