The nightlife in Cagayan de Oro is a mix of nightclubs and bars that are open from around 7pm through to midnight, or later on Friday and Saturday nights. Night Café and Night Market
Held in the City Golden Friendship Park at the Plaza Divisoria. Every Friday and Saturday night they close the streets and open stalls, the Night Café offers mainly grilled local delicacies and drinks, while the Night Market has stalls of outrageous fashions and accessories. Local bands provide the music. It starts at 7pm running through to the small hours. The atmosphere is electric.
Pulse Live Music Venue
Popular with young and trendy types, the Pulse Live Music Venue offers nightly entertainment and dancing. Local and International bands provide the live R&B music, plus there’s karaoke, themed nights, light and laser shows. The Sky Lounge has a large bar serving cocktails, wines, beers and spirits, plus Pulse has a food bar.
Koresco Poolside Bar
Located within the Hotel Koresco complex, this elegant bar offers wines and cocktails. Tables and comfy seating is positioned close to a subtly lit water feature with waterfalls, while music plays in the background.
Compadres Bar
A cosy, snug-style hotelbar at Pryce Plaza with a traditional Filipino décor, the Compadres Bar is ideal for relaxing with friends over a local cocktail and listening to soft piano music. open daily from 8am-1am.
Picasso Bar
Located within the Dynasty Court Hotel, this bar has live music every evening. Centrally located near the Saint Augustine Cathedral, it is popular with the young and lively set as well as the hotel guests.
