Jazz greats such as Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Oscar Peterson, and Lionel Hampton have honored "Cave 54" with an appearance. Today just as 50 years ago, Cave 54 is a popular meeting place in the Old Town for first-hand experience of good music enjoyed with a glass of wine.
