The small, modern airport Limoges-Bellegarde, receiving internal and international flights, is 10 km from the city on N141.
There are several taxi options outside the terminal. The company “Allo Artisans Limoges Taxis " (AALT) offers a fixed rate from the airport to the train station. Monday to Saturday between 09.00-19.00 the cost is € 23 and on Sundays and during nights the fare is € 31. The fare is based upon vehicle and not on numbers of passengers. The journey takes about 10 to 15 minutes. It is possible to pre-book a transfer on the telephone number +33 555 38 38 38, other way, you find the taxis departure just outside the airport terminal or the train station.
If you rather take the bus, there is a direct bus between the airport and the bus station in Limoges during summer months. The fare is only a couple of Euros and the journey takes about 20 minutes. There is also an option to take the local bus number 16. This route goes all year but it departs almost 5 km from the airport terminal.

Central Limoges is small and walkable but the city also has an excellent bus network. You can buy a single ticket that is valid for one hour or an all-day ticket. These can all be bought on board the vehicle.
Taxis display a yellow sign on the roof. They can be hailed, phoned or picked up at cab ranks around town. Fares are metered by distance, journey time and time of day. Tips are optional.
