Växjö Konserthus

The Christina Nilsson hall is Växjö's largest concert hall and holds 800 spectators, 60 of which are on the balcony. Around a hundred different public events such as concerts, stand-up, farces and lectures are arranged here every year. Växjö Konserthus is within walking distance (500 m) from the railway station

Växjö Teater

Växjö Teater is Sweden's second oldest regional theater and today has approximately 445 seats. The theater was inaugurated on December 26, 1849, and the building was designed by county architect Wilhelm Theodor Anckarsvärd, who is also the creator of Växjö City Hall. In 1964, Växjö Theater became a building monument.

Regionteatern Blekinge Kronoberg

Regionteatern Blekinge Kronoberg was already established in 1984 as the county theater for Blekinge län, but then as Stiftelsen Kronobergsteatern. The theater was created out of Riksteatern's Växjö ensemble, which had been active in Växjö since 1970.

Nygatan 6

Nygatan 6 is Musik i Syd's home in central Växjö with a place for music and culture. Our concert hall accommodates jazz, folk music, family performances, classical and everything in between, and the stage is also the home stage for Musik i Syd's own chamber orchestra Musica Vitae. The house is also home to Småland's Music Archive, with the possibility to book a visit and take part in the archive's rich collections.
