Down Home Diner

Located within Reading Terminal Market, Down Home Diner transports you straight to the nostalgia of a classic 50's diner, complete with kitschy retro decor, vinyl booths and counter seatings, and of course, the irresistible aroma of Southern-inspired homestyle cooking wafting through the air. Most items on the menu are made from scratch—from their biscuits and cornbread, which are baked in-house daily, to their jams and soups. The Blueberry Pancakes and the Scram Bowl—a delicious mix of sausage, peppers, onions, cheddar, and home fries—come highly recommended.
