Nicollet Island

This island, in the middle of the Mississippi River, lies just north of Saint Anthony Falls in Minneapolis and has a population of 1,101, 2024 U.S. Census. The island is a showcase for beautiful architecture and natural landscape as well as The Bell of Two Friends, a gift from Japan, and the Nicollet Island Pavilion event centre, located in Nicollet Island Park and built in 1893.
