Pharmacies are called 'apotheek' in Dutch and are easy to find in most neighbourhoods of Groningen. They are generally open from around 8am to 6pm. Oosterpoort pharmacy is a 10-minute walk from the city centre and is one of the many branches of Service Apotheek.

Best Time to Visit

The warmest months in Groningen are June through September, although these are also the months that bring the most precipitation. August is best month if you also plan to hit the beaches.
